About Dr. Bryman

For over 15 years, Dr. Bryman has been treating people of all ages that come to her looking for answers. This is the essence of therapy: to provide tools necessary to make changes that can help someone improve their life or the lives of those around them. Therapy can be short-term or long-term, and there are always effective strategies. Dr. Bryman provides a safe and comfortable setting to facilitate growth and self -awareness. She teaches coping skills that will lead to lasting independence. In addition, over time, her clients become introspective, explore their actions, and eradicate unhealthy behavioral patterns. Dr. Bryman is also well versed in social media and the dangers that text messaging, Facebook, and Instagram pose to both adults and youth.  Dr. Bryman is available for consultations prior to beginning therapy and can be seem at her office conveniently located off the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Parkway.

Biography

Dr. Robin Bryman is a Licensed Psychologist. She earned a Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from the City University of New York in 2002, and holds two Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Industrial Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University earned in 1990. Prior to that, Dr. Bryman earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University at Albany in 1988.

Dr. Bryman has vast experience in the field of Psychology over the years. This includes an extensive research background involving children, adolescents, and parenting. She was an adjunct professor at Queens College, teaching both Undergraduate and Graduate students courses spanning Psychology, Elementary and Secondary Education.
